The Shaolin Kung Fu system is one of the most effective over all fitness program for those whose main goal is general-well being but there are those who want more than physical fitness out of their training. By popular demand, this location will offer classes for serious and dedicated students who seek to achieve the highest level of Shaolin Kung Fu’s “Unity of Chan and Fist – Mind and Body.” This level of what can be described as "Moving Meditation" can be expressed through the slow and supple Rouchuan as well as through the quick and explosive movements of the Lohan Eighteen Palm (18 grappling techniques).The unique teaching methods of Masters Shi Guolin and Shi Yan Ju will feature the famous Yi Jin/Xi Sui Jing ("Tendon Changing/Marrow Washing") as the basic foundation for Shaolin and any other style of martial arts.

11th Anniversary Celebration / Tryout for NY USAWKF Team
Theere will be a celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the Shaolin Temple Overseas Headquarters on Saturday, September 2nd at 1PM (Flushing).

Upon completion of the Shaolin Temple Overseas Headquarters' Advance Summer Intensive Course, potential competitors for the Second World Traditional Wushu Championships (see above) will try out to be on the New York, USA team headed by Abbot Shi Guolin. The trial will be open to the public as is the celebration of STOH's 11th anniversary. Non-STOH students wishing to try out will need to register by August 27th.
